With its Memmert ICP series of cooled incubators, the laboratory technology manufacturer Memmert has exactly met the needs of many customers. The innovative appliances are available in 4 model sizes between 108 and 749 liters capacity. The appliances are mainly used in zoology, in the pharmaceutical industry, in the food industry and in biology. Whether production or research, the precise operation of the models provides reliable and helpful support for the fields of application.

The cooled incubators operate in the temperature ranges between -12 °C and +60 °C. Important features of the devices

The ICP series units have a very environmentally friendly cooling and heating technology, which can contribute a lot to energy saving and sustainability in the company already when using the product. The important intelligent defrosting technology makes the handling and cleaning of the equipment easy. With the double doors , the view of the stored samples or products is always possible without disturbing the conditions inside the unit.

The internally mounted glass doors safely maintain the temperature when making a visual inspection. The well insulated doors allow a very energy saving operation. The housing of the models is made of high-quality stainless steel, which is pleasantly easy to clean and allows very hygienic cleaning. In the interior of the device, a constant temperature is ensured at all points due to the effective air circulation.

The advantage of this air circulation is also the fast tempering of newly inserted items. With the use of double doors, contamination of the contents with undesirable substances can be prevented. The units of the series are equipped with casters that allow easy transport in the laboratory. This will make cleaning the floor under the incubators very hygienic.

This series includes four different sized models of the cooled incubators. They include 110, 260, 450 and 750 liters of practical usable volume. All models are equipped with the practical double doors. All of them are operated with the refrigerant R134a, which is considered to be very environmentally friendly.

Modern design and practical interior equipment

The modern design of the units with the stainless steel housing and the clear display in the upper area is an asset to any laboratory. The interior can accommodate different sized goods or objects through adjustable grids. The grids can be placed individually by the flexibly attached guides. The inner stainless steel cladding has a seamless design. This allows hygienic cleaning.

With the air circulation in the interior, preparations are quickly adjusted to the prevailing temperature and there is no temperature drop when placing products. The adjustable stainless steel grids also offer easy cleaning. In addition, they are very resilient.

Innovative technologies and maximum safety

Various special technologies have been applied to the modern devices of the ICP series of cooled incubators, which promise convenient and reliable handling. For example, there is a clever defrosting method that automatically defrosts the incubator. In addition, the intelligent air circulation inside the cold room guarantees constant temperatures at all points.

The TwinDisplay function offers you a clear operation of the equipment and a correct quick reading. Remote monitoring can be set up with the Ethernet interface. An alarm system warns of overheating or falling below the optimal temperatures with acoustic and visual signals.

The interior of the units is secured by the double doors. The special air circulation in the interior has been developed to ensure the constant temperature.

Technical data

As an example we can consider the Memmert ICP 750. The dimensions of the refrigerator are 1040 mm x 1200 mm x 600 mm. A maximum of 14 shelves fit into the device. The model weighs 249 kg and each of the grids may be loaded with 30 kg. The positions of the grates can be flexibly selected. The compressor cooled incubator offers storage on casters so that it can also be transported or moved aside in the laboratory. This allows easy cleaning under the unit.
