Robust design and safety

The functional and attractive design of the kerosene oven with the structured, easy-to-clean Memmert stainless steel, is particularly robust, scratch-resistant, hygienic and durable. The safety of users and preparations is ensured with electronic temperature monitoring, a mechanical temperature limiter and an integrated self-diagnosis system.

Temperature and ventilation

The temperature setting range is +20 °C to 80 °C with a setting accuracy of 0.1 °C. The two built-in temperature sensors are used for monitoring and function takeover in the event of a fault. Convection is provided by natural ventilation.

Control technology

The ControlCOCKPIT with TwinDisplay contains an adaptive multifunctional PID microprocessor controller with two high-resolution TFT color displays. Language settings can be made in German, English, Spanish, French, Polish, Czech and Hungarian. The integrated timer with digital reverse clock can be set from one minute to 99 days.

With the SetpointWAIT function, the process time is not started until the set temperature is reached. A helpful calibration function allows you to set three freely selectable temperature values. The temperature can be set in both Celsius or Fahrenheit. In addition, parameters for program run time, time zones and summer or winter time can be set.

Communication

The integrated logging function ensures that the program sequence is saved - even in the event of a power failure.

With the help of the AtmoCONTROL software, programming as well as managing and transferring programs can be carried out via an Ethernet interface or a USB port.

A high level of safety

The temperature is monitored with the mechanical temperature limiter TB protection class 1 (DIN 12880) with heating shutdown approx. - 20 °C above the maximum cabinet temperature.

Both a temperature selector monitor (TWW) of protection class 3.1 and a temperature selector limiter (TWB) of protection class 2 can be selected on the display.

The Memmert AutoSAFETY offers an additional integrated over- and under-temperature monitoring ("ASF"). This automatically follows the setpoint at freely selectable intervals. The alarm is triggered when the temperature exceeds or falls below the setpoint. The heating is switched off automatically when the temperature exceeds the setpoint. The alarm is visual and audible.

A self-diagnosis system is installed for fault detection.

Interior and housing

The fully insulated door of the model is made of stainless steel and equipped with a 2-point locking system (compression door lock). The unit has a drawer with stainless steel grate, which is electropolished. The easy-to-clean interior is virtually gas-tight and reinforced with deep-draw ribbing. In addition, a protected 4-sided all-around heating system is integrated.

The volume of the UN30pa model variant is 32 liters. The dimensions of the interior are 400 mm x 320 mm x 250 mm in width, height, depth (WxHxD). A maximum of 3 shelves can be installed with a maximum load of 20 kg per shelf. The maximum load per unit is therefore 60 kg.

The dimensions of the housing are 585 x 704 x 434 mm in width, height, depth (WxHxD), plus 56 mm at the door handle in depth. The housing contains a fully galvanized steel sheet back.

The maximum installation altitude is 2000 m above sea level. The ambient temperature is +5 °C to +40 °C.

Packaging data

The dimensions including the carton are in width, height, depth (WxHxD) 660 mm x 890 mm x 650 mm. The net weight is approx. 45 kg, the gross weight with carton is 61 kg.
