Duocooling technology is an innovative technology and proven quality from Liebherr that is used in Liebherr refrigerators and freezers. It allows each area of the appliance to be individually cooled or frozen. Thanks to the duocooling technology, it is possible for the cooling system to work independently of the freezing system. This means that each zone in the unit is equipped with its own temperature control. For example, food can be stored at 2 °C to 6 °C in the cooling zone, while at the same time the freezing zone can be set to -18 °C

This separation has many advantages: On the one hand, it ensures that there is no need for air exchange between the two areas - thus preserving the moisture in the respective compartment and preventing fruit or vegetables from drying out and frozen food from forming ice. On the other hand, this technology also saves energy costs: since each compartment is regulated separately, the entire appliance does not always have to be active - only when you really need it.
