The sampling specialist Bürkle offers disposable plastic samplers of the LaboPlast® and SteriPlast® brands for this application. These are manufactured and packaged under clean room conditions and optionally gamma sterilized.
The hygienic properties allow the samplers to be used immediately and disposed of quickly and easily after sampling. This also means that no mistakes can be made when cleaning the sampler. This completely eliminates the risk of cross-contamination or contamination and ensures sample purity.

New to the Bürkle range are the disposable samplers with long handle: the spoons, ladles, bent spoons and scoops with long handle are suitable for sampling powders, granulates, pastes and liquids.
The long handle is ideal for reaching the bottoms of larger containers or sampling drums, canisters and bottles with small opening diameters. Ergonomically designed notches on the handle make the disposables comfortable and secure to hold.
The new disposable samplers are made of polystyrene or polyethylene and, like the manufacturer's other disposable products, feature EU food and FDA approval. Depending on requirements, the samplers are available in white, blue, blue detectable or white organic and with different contents from 5 ml to 100 ml.
Different materials for different requirements
The blue disposable samplers can be used within the HACCP/IFS/BRC foreign object management: If a sampler accidentally enters production, it can be quickly and easily detected during visual inspection or by means of a color scanner due to its conspicuous color.
In addition to the blue color, the material of the detectable disposable samplers is enriched with metal particles, which means that they can also be detected using metal detectors or X-rays.
Bio-PE made from renewable raw materials
In some cases, the increased demands on sampling can only be met with disposable products. However, in order to still consider the environmental idea and to ensure ecologically sustainable action, Bürkle also offers the disposable products with long handle made of bio-plastic.
The Bio-PE disposables fulfill all the properties of conventional polyethylene suitable for sampling, but are manufactured from renewable raw materials and can be completely recycled. Thus, despite the increased specifications in quality assurance, the environmental concept can be taken into account and an ecologically sustainable action can be guaranteed.
