K/KC Nabertherm - Resistant Design and Long Service Life

Nabertherm melting furnaces have been appreciated by regular customers worldwide for more than 17 years. The industrial furnaces as well as their applications are characterized above all by the quality feature "Made in Germany" and the quality seal "100 % Best Price Guaranteed". The K/KC is considered a special laboratory production for the industrial sector.

This compact tilting furnace can be used for a wide variety of laboratory applications. This high quality bench top model is used for melting special alloys and non-ferrous metals. If you have any questions, our experienced, knowledgeable team will be happy to assist you at any time.

What distinguishes the product series?

The compact table models convince by high performance in the laboratory area. The tilting aid is equipped with shock absorbers. In front of the furnace there is a practical transfer trough which facilitates dosing when pouring the melt. However, the KC4/14 model does not have this device. The furnaces of the K/KC series are designed for furnace chamber temperatures of 1000 °C, 1300 °C and 1400 °C.

The heating plates are easy to change. The insulation is made of fiber material and the casing. The furnace series has an integrated exhaust air opening. This laboratory furnace scores with a very low noise level. The scope of delivery includes the corresponding software.

An overview of the K/KC models

This series scores especially because of the practical tilting function and as tabletop models. The KC 4/14 is the only model that does not have a transfer trough. In this series you can choose between K1/10, K2/10, K4/10, K1/13, K2/13, K4/13, KC1/14, KC2/14 and KC4/14.

The 13 model has a transformer in a separate housing. In the case of the 14 models, a switchgear as well as a controller are housed separately in a floor-standing cabinet. The 13 and 14 models are designed for temperatures up to 1400 °C. The 10 models only up to 1000 °C. The 10 series models only up to 1000 °C.

The perfect design for maximum industrial performance

This high-quality furnace has a base frame and a ceramic die. e made of high-quality textured stainless steel sheet. The double-walled housing protects against low outside temperatures and guarantees high stability. There is an adjustable air supply opening in the door. The high-quality stainless steel sheet structure not only protects, it also fits seamlessly into the laboratory structure of any laboratory operation. Nabertherm melting furnaces are among the most innovative in the industry.

Improved Technologies from Nabertherm

The problem with rechargeable batteries has always been limited storage capacity. However, the technologies have caught up greatly in recent years and place higher demands on the materials as well as their purity. High purity graphite is annealed at high temperatures in the absence of oxygen. The degree of graphitization increases and thus the performance is improved.

The manufacturer has thus managed to greatly improve the 3000 °C furnace series. The heating capacity and the insulating structure have been improved and the service life extended. The graphite-heated cold-wall retort furnaces of the SVHT.../30-GR series are suitable for small-scale production and R&D.

Technical Specification at a Glance

The K/KC from Nabertherm has ceramic heating plates which are heated by an integrated heating wire. The housing is made of stainless steel sheet and is therefore easy to heat and extremely robust, durable and resistant.

The basic model of the K1/10 series reaches a maximum temperature in the furnace of 1000 °C and in the melting bath of 850°C. The A6 is suitable as a crucible. The capacity to be reached is 1.5 for Al and the volume is 0.75 kg. The external dimensions of the basic model are 600 mm x 710 mm x 670 mm. The connected load is 3 kW and the weight is 85 kg.
