Optimal all-rounder for laboratory and medicine

The IPPeco cooled incubator from Memmert is one of the most energy-efficient and at the same time most powerful appliances of its kind. The reason for this is Memmert's Advances Peltier Technology, which significantly reduces heating, cooling and recovery times. This allows operating costs to be saved, sample quality requirements to be ensured and process times in the microbiology laboratory to be significantly reduced.

With this instrument, you can carry out typical applications such as microbiological tests, microbial count determination, cultivation above and below room temperature, force test beer stability or shelf life tests of dairy products.

With Memmert Advanced Peltier Technology, the IPPeco cooled incubator enables highly sensitive temperature control with minimal control fluctuations, ensuring excellent temperature homogeneity . The risk of sample dehydration is minimized due to the interior space being completely sealed off from the environment.

Another advantage is that condensation during the cooling process does not occur in the working chamber, but outside on the Peltier element. Without a compressor, the IPPeco cooling incubator is quiet, space-saving and vibration-free.

The model is available in a total of 9 different model sizes or versions with an interior volume of 32 to 2140 liters. There are 2 model variants to choose from: SingleDISPLAY and TwinDISPLAY. The material used for the housing and interior consists almost exclusively of durable and easy-to-clean stainless steel.

The temperature range of this model is 0 °C to +70 °C. Contamination and temperature fluctuations are prevented with the fully insulated stainless steel door with glass cut-out. The product-specific heating concept ensures precise, homogeneous and energy-efficient temperature control.

The IPPeco is also characterized by its intuitive and user-friendly operating concept. There are numerous options for comprehensive programming and documentation with the AtmoControl software, the available interfaces and an integrated data logger.

Temperature range & settings

The setting accuracy of the temperature is 0.1 °C. The setting temperature range for all model variants is 0 °C to +70 °C. The temperature sensor ensures monitoring and function takeover in the event of a fault. Convection takes place with forced internal air circulation by a Peltier circulating air fan.

The heating concept is based on a Peltier heating-cooling system integrated in the rear panel (energy-saving heat pump principle). And the temperature of this model can be set in both Celsius or Fahrenheit. In addition, parameters for program run time, time zones, and summer or winter time can be set.

Control and timer

The ControlCOCKPIT – optionally with single or twin display – contains an adaptive multifunctional PID microprocessor controller with high-resolution TFT color displays. Language settings can be made in German, English, Spanish, French, Polish, Czech as well as Hungarian. The integrated timer with digital backward clock can be set from one minute to 99 days.

With the SetpointWAIT function, the process time is not started until the setpoint temperature is reached. With the calibration function, three freely selectable temperature values can be set.

Communication

The integrated logging function ensures that the program sequence is saved – even in the event of a power failure. With the help of the AtmoCONTROL software, programming as well as managing and transferring the data logger can be carried out via an Ethernet interface or a USB port.

Safety

The temperature is monitored by a mechanical temperature limiter TB. A self-diagnosis system is used for error detection.

Standard scope of delivery

The unit is equipped with two stainless steel grid posts (electropolished) as plug-in units. A fully insulated stainless steel door with 2-point locking (compression door lock) and interior glass door is installed.

Interior and load

The interior of this unit is made of high quality stainless steel and has a volume of 1060 liters. The dimensions in width, height and depth (WxHxD) are 1040 mm x 1200 mm x 850 mm minus 32 mm for fan or Peltier in depth. The device has the optimal size to be placed in small to medium sized laboratories and work areas. A total of 14 shelves can be placed inside, with a maximum load of 20 kg per shelf and 200 kg per unit.

Housing and weight

The structural stainless steel housing measures 1224 mm x 1720 mm x 1005 mm in width, height and depth (W x H x D). In addition, there are 56 mm in depth for the door handle and 111 mm for the Peltier element.

A fully galvanized sheet steel back panel is attached to the rear of the housing. The unit is on casters and is mobile and lockable. The net weight (without packaging) is approx. 284 kg.
