Even at first glance, the Liebherr GGv 5010 differs from a freezer for private households. The most important distinguishing feature is the 4 robust feet on which the housing stands. They can be individually adjusted in length between 150 and 180 mm. This allows not only to compensate for unevenness in the floor, the floor under the device can above all be cleaned effortlessly.

The Liebherr upright freezer made of stainless steel convinces with its extensive functions and good equipment. This includes, for example, that the temperature can be set to within one degree in the range from -14 °C to -28 °C so that the product ensures proper cooling. The temperature controller is operated on the digital temperature display above the door. Right next to it is also the lock, which can be used to secure the inside of the refrigerator from unauthorized access.

No-frost technology and recirculating air cooling are used for freezing, which contribute in particular to good energy efficiency. The air in the freezer compartment is circulated by a fan. It is directed to the evaporator outside the upright freezer, where the moisture condenses and forms a thin layer of ice. This is defrosted by a heater and the condensation water is drained off. The dry and cooled air is fed back into the freezer. Thanks to the No-Frost technology, the Liebherr appliance no longer needs to be defrosted. Icing is thus prevented and the frozen food looks as if it has just been stored. The condensation water is not collected in a container but evaporates, making the Liebherr freezer very low-maintenance .
