Labbox white coat, ladies, 100% cotton
The Labbox white coat, ladies, 100% cotton is a professional laboratory garment that works convincingly in chemical, biological and pharmaceutical work environments. Its close-fitting cut and high-quality finish in pure cotton make it comfortable to wear, even during long periods of laboratory work. Compared to cheaper versions, it is characterized by robust seams and first-class fabric quality, which significantly increases durability and reliability.
High-quality equipment for everyday laboratory work
This lab coat has practical features that are essential in demanding laboratory situations. Its lapel collar design not only gives it a professional look, but also allows good ventilation in the neck area. Five securely fastening buttons ensure a reliable fit and allow the garment to be put on and taken off quickly. Thanks to two spacious hip pockets and an additional breast pocket, important items such as pens, notepads or small laboratory equipment can be carried close to the body without restricting freedom of movement.
The fabric is made of 100% cotton, which makes it comfortable to wear and ensures good breathability. This helps to minimize unpleasant heat build-up, especially during longer work shifts. Cotton can also be easily cleaned of potential soiling such as chemical residues or laboratory stains at normal washing temperatures.

Relevant standards and certifications
A professional lab coat should not only be hard-wearing, but also meet certain safety standards. Many lab coats meet the requirements of DIN EN ISO 13688 for protective clothing; it can be useful to check this standard in an operational environment to ensure personal protection. As each work area has its own specifications, it is advisable to adapt the lab coat to the respective guidelines for occupational safety.
Examples of use in everyday laboratory work
- In chemistry: Ideal for protecting against splashes of light chemicals and for safe storage of small utensils such as pipettes or test tubes
- In biology: Prevents contamination when working with microorganisms and provides hygienic protection for laboratory processes
- In pharmacy: Protects sensitive products from fibers and contamination, especially when filling sensitive substances
- In medical test laboratories: Provides a professional look for blood sampling, specimen collection and analysis of various kinds
Thanks to the robust fabric, the gown is also designed for regular contact surface cleaning with disinfectants. For light soiling caused by more specific substances such as ethanol, acetone or chloroform, a standard wash cycle is usually sufficient to thoroughly remove surface residues.
