Labbox peristaltic dosing pump, LBX P10 Compact, 0.1 - 100 min-1
This compact and high-precision peristaltic pump was specially developed for applications in which precise dosing of small volumes is a decisive factor. Thanks to the reversal of the flow direction, it is perfect for flexible processes where the focus is on both filling and emptying. Anyone who requires maximum accuracy and repeatable results in laboratory environments or industrial areas will find this device hard to ignore. Compared to many comparable dosing pumps, it impresses with its user-friendly user interface and additional functions such as the pedal for manual flow control.
Precise dosing for demanding applications
A key element that makes the difference compared to simple pumps is the peristaltic conveying technology, which enables even sensitive media to be transported without the risk of contamination. The flow direction can be easily adjusted by switching, which facilitates versatile process sequences. An LED display with four digits allows permanent monitoring of important settings, making the device stand out in terms of ease of use and repeatability. Anyone who needs a precisely controllable flow rate in laboratory analyses, pharmaceutical research or production lines will particularly benefit from this model.
In addition, the included pedal increases ease of use in batch processes or production steps that require manual intervention - ideal when dosed quantities need to be flexibly adjusted. The integrated RS485/MODBUS interface also facilitates integration into automated systems. This communication capability increases process reliability, as data can be exchanged in real time and processes can be controlled digitally.

These standards ensure that the device is both safe and reliable to use and complies with the relevant European specifications. This guarantees consistently high quality, which is essential in research-intensive environments.
Application examples
- Laboratory analysis: When transferring small volumes of volatile solvents, acidic or neutral media, the pump delivers reproducible results.
- Pharmaceutical development: Precise dosing of test substances such as buffer solutions or test reagents for diagnostics and drug analyses.
- Biotechnological processes: Design of enzymatic reactions or cell suspensions where sterile working must be guaranteed.
- Quality control: Fast filling and emptying of test stand tubes in compliance with precise volume specifications.
As the flow direction can be easily reversed, the user can quickly switch between pumping and aspiration. Sensitive solutions, such as cell cultures, also benefit from the gentle peristalsis, as the risk of shear forces is significantly reduced.
FAQs
How can the flow speed be optimally controlled?
The conveying speed is set precisely via the LED display on the front. Alternatively, the supplied pedal can be used to control processes manually and make spontaneous adjustments if required.
What are the advantages of the peristaltic principle?
Peristaltic action makes it possible to convey sensitive media without direct contact with pump components. This reduces the risk of contamination and facilitates the handling of liquids in medical, biotechnological or chemical processes.
How does the RS485/MODBUS interface work?
Thanks to MODBUS integration, the device can be incorporated into automated systems to read out process data and control operating sequences. This allows dosing processes to be fully digitized and monitored, which delivers fail-safe results, especially in quality control or series production.
Is changing hoses complicated?
No, the silicone hose supplied is easy to replace. This means that users can easily process a wide variety of media without having to carry out lengthy cleaning or conversion processes.
Conclusion
This versatile peristaltic dosing pump from LBX Instruments offers an excellent combination of precision, flexibility and user-friendliness. Switching the flow direction, the sophisticated LED display and the ability to be integrated into automated workflows via RS485/MODBUS are key features that set it apart from conventional pump systems. Particularly in demanding laboratory and production environments, the device ensures maximum reliability thanks to its precise dosing, robust design and a number of safety functions. With accessories such as pedal, non-return valves and silicone tubing, different requirements can be quickly realized. If you are looking for increased efficiency, precise delivery rates and ease of use, this pump is an excellent choice.
