ebro core thermometer TTX 110
The ebro TTX 110 core thermometer is a high-precision thermocouple measuring device with a permanently installed probe that has been specially developed for temperature measurements in the professional food sector. Thanks to its wide measuring range and robust design, it is ideal for cold stores and food inspection. This reliability can also be found in other kitchen measuring instruments such as the [Testo 106], whose compact design and measuring technology can deliver similar results. Nevertheless, the TTX-110 model impresses with its robust design, excellent measurement accuracy and waterproof housing (IP55).
Versatile features and functions
The compact design of the device enables easy handling even in harsh environments. In food processing companies in particular, the focus is on maintaining defined temperature ranges to ensure high quality and hygiene standards. Thanks to its automatic switch-off and user-friendly battery replacement, the thermometer offers a high level of practicality. This measuring device is a well thought-out solution for anyone looking for a reliable and fast core thermometer. Especially in environments with strictly regulated standards, such as commercial kitchens or catering production facilities, precise temperature monitoring is essential.
Similar to the [ebro TFI 260], this device also impresses with its solid workmanship and fast response time. Precise measured values help to guarantee temperature compliance at every stage of the process. The thermometer is characterized by the following technical features:
- Measuring range: -50 °C to +350 °C
- Accuracy: ±0.8 °C or ±0.8 % (whichever is greater)
- Resolution: 0.1 °C from -60 °C to +199 °C, beyond that 1 °C
- Protection class: IP55 (waterproof housing)
- Power supply: Lithium button cell 3 V, type CR 2450
- Factory calibration certificate for reliable traceability
- Compact dimensions: 90 x 42 x 17 mm
In addition to these key data, the durable housing ensures a high level of resistance, while the replaceable battery promises a long device life. A practical needle guard protects the measuring tip during transportation. Thanks to the factory calibration certificate, well-founded calibration data is available, which is important in quality-relevant areas in order to fulfill documentation obligations.
Certifications and standards
As temperature measurements in the food sector are usually strictly regulated, the manufacturer attaches great importance to complying with the relevant EU regulations. This ensures accurate measured values during regular inspections. The IP55 classification also underlines the suitability for humid environments, such as those found in commercial kitchens, goods delivery or meat processing plants.
Concrete application examples
- Quality assurance in cold stores: The thermometer can be inserted directly into frozen products to ensure uninterrupted compliance with the cold chain.
- Catering: In restaurant kitchens, chefs benefit from precise core measurements for meat, fish and baked goods during cooking processes.
- Goods inspection: In incoming goods, the measuring device helps to check compliance with legal requirements and thus complies with HACCP guidelines.
- Catering and events: Critical temperatures can be checked quickly with one-off spot checks, especially at large buffet events.
FAQs
How to change the battery
The battery is changed by opening the battery compartment. The lithium button cell (3 V, type CR 2450) is then easily accessible and can be replaced safely.
Can the thermometer also be used for frozen food?
Yes, thanks to the wide measuring range down to -50 °C, frozen food can also be reliably tested.
How robust is the housing?
The device has an IP55 classification and is therefore sufficiently protected against dust and water jets, making it very suitable for use in typical kitchen and cold room environments.
How accurate are the measurement results?
The accuracy is ±0.8 °C or ±0.8 % of the measured value. For the food sector, this complies with current regulations and directives.
How to protect the probe during transportation
A needle guard is supplied to prevent the tip from being damaged or injuring people during transportation or storage.
Conclusion
This measuring device combines a robust design, precise measurement technology and clean documentation thanks to a standardized calibration certificate. It ensures consistently high quality and safety, particularly in food laboratories, catering establishments and industrial production. The flexible application options and wide temperature range make it a reliable partner for any type of temperature control without being complex to use.
