The Binder B 28 incubator from the B Classic.Line product series is a laboratory-approved incubator for areas of biochemistry or microbiology. With excellent equipment and simultaneous reliability and performance at high batch throughputs in long-term operation, it is also characterized by relatively low costs. The most important functions at a glance
This unit has a mechanically adjustable temperature range from 30 °C up to 70 °C. Should you heat the oven to 37 °C, you will find that it takes only 95 minutes, which is why the fastest possible work can be guaranteed. Sufficient safety and stability of the interior is ensured by the ESG glazing of the inner door, so that the temperature remains largely constant after heating.
The temporal temperature deviation is only one K. The temperature homogeneity is also given in the best possible way. Here, the spatial temperature deviation is only 1.5 K. This ensures optimum incubation of your various organisms. In addition, the existing fresh air flap ensures even heat distribution.
The hydraulic-mechanical thermostat allows you to regulate the temperature specifically as required for your individual incubator. You use the parking brake to set a specific temperature.
In addition, you will still find various control indicators on the device, such as the thermometer or a green and yellow indicator light, which on the one hand suggests that the incubator is ready for operation and on the other hand indicates the heating activity .
Discover the Classic-Line
Besides the already mentioned model, there are two other versions of the Classic.Line series.
On the one hand, the BD cabinet with natural convection, which incubates as gently as possible and is therefore optimal for heat-sensitive media. Here you can choose from the BD 23 model with 20 liters of internal volume and the BD 400 model with 400 liters.
And secondly, there is the BF incubator with recirculation function, which has an extremely homogeneous operation despite being fully loaded. This model is only available with an internal volume of 400 liters.
In addition, you can also choose between two nominal voltages from the incubator described in detail here. Here you can choose between 230 volts and 120 volts.
Sophisticated design and high functionality
What will your new incubator look like? You will get a highly functional and simply designed cabinet, which is one step ahead of other cabinets due to its ease of use. A red border that stretches horizontally across the front of the plain gray and white box-shaped incubator is particularly eye-catching. The handle and feet of the incubator are in a black color.
Six functions are displayed on the red surface. The control thermometer, the main switch, the two indicator lights, the thermostat and the thermostat parking brake. The control thermometer shows the current temperature inside, with the main switch they turn the device on or off, with the thermostat you regulate the temperature manually and the associated parking brake sets the certain value. The green indicator light shows you that the unit is ready for operation, and the yellow light tells you about the heating activity.

First, the company uses APT.line(TM), which means "Advanced Preheating Technology. It is a unique heating system to ensure temperature homogeneity inside the incubators. Secondly, SynergyLight(TM) is used. It is a kind of light cassette with special light sources. The light intensity is then detected by Light Quantum Control(TM) via 3D sphere sensors.
In addition, a controlled humidity system is used in CO2 incubators, which is called CoPERMADRY(TM). Intelligent software is also used in vacuum drying ovens, which detects the end of drying based on the pressure curve and automatically starts ventilation. This technology is called SmartVent.
Finally, the CO2 -FailSafe function is used to ensure the survival of cell cultures in this equipment by keeping the CO2 concentration stable in the event of a failure.
For safe use
As the most important precaution, it should be noted that you should never operate the models without observation. You should not transport the unit by the handle, but lift it by the feet of the unit with four people. If you want to set up the device, make sure it is in an enclosed, dry and non-combustible place, which should be level. Also, there should be no explosive agents nearby, otherwise there is a DANGER OF LIFE. The room temperature here should be between 18 and 40 °C.
The mains voltage should also be checked before first use. During use, do not touch or cover the air outlet slots. In addition, the model must not get wet during operation or maintenance work. All maintenance work must be carried out by qualified electricians.
