The most important features

The ED 400 operates in a temperature range from +5 °C over ambient temperature to +300 °C. The unit is equipped with an adjustable exhaust air flap and two shelves with chrome-plated slide-in grids, which provide ideal storage space. Particularly effective is the controller with timer function, which the model also has.

The natural convection from this warming cabinet ensures particularly efficient work processes. Among other things, the effectiveness is ensured by the temperature selector limiter class 2 (DIN 12880) with visual alarm.

Functional design

This Binder model is very compact and comes with a white exterior. The two outer doors can practically be opened individually, so that as little air as possible can always enter the unit from the outside. Inside the cabinet are the chrome-plated shelves, where your materials can be stored very safely. The door handles are anti-slip or ergonomically shaped.

With the ED 23, this unit has a special space-saving door mechanism. There is also an unobtrusive rear exhaust pipe (ø 50 mm).

Precise, routine procedures

This model can be heated up to 150 °C within 71 minutes . Drying and sterilization work at up to 300 °C can be easily handled by the unit. Thanks to the natural circulating air, all thermal processes in this drying oven are highly routine and particularly efficient.

The heart of the unit is the APT.line preheating chamber. In addition, the oven can be controlled either with or without an RS 422 interface using the APT-COMTM communication software or the DataControlSystem.

Optimum safety

This model is also convincing in terms of safety. It has a controller with a time function and a particularly low recovery time. After opening the door for 30 seconds at 150 °C, the recovery time is approx. 30 minutes. This means that the samples etc. stored in this unit will not be damaged if the door is only opened briefly or remains open for a while.

The time temperature deviation at 150 °C [± K] is 0.5 °C for this unit. Due to the adjustable exhaust air flap, it is not only possible to regulate the temperature optimally. This also provides a great deal of protection against overheating. The lock on the doors as well as the good insulation further ensure that there is no cooling and your working materials are not damaged.
