The asecos safety storage cabinet ION-CORE-90 (IO90.195.060.CS.WDC) is a highly specialized solution for the safe storage of lithium-ion batteries in various industries such as laboratories, development centers or industrial production environments. Thanks to its robust design and comprehensive fire protection, this cabinet meets the highest safety standards and at the same time impresses with its practical detailed solutions. Similar equipped products such as the [asecos safety storage cabinet Q-CLASSIC-90] offer additional options to meet different storage requirements or to find suitable alternatives for extensions.
High-quality construction for maximum security
If you work with lithium-ion batteries in your company or laboratory, you need a reliable system that minimizes the risk of fire and is easy to use at the same time. This safety cabinet is highly resistant to scratches and wear thanks to its powder-coated textured surface. Its solid construction enables a fire resistance of over 90 minutes when exposed to fire from the inside out and 90 minutes of fire protection from the outside in (type 90, type-tested in accordance with EN 14470-1). This makes it ideal for users who value maximum protection and CE-compliant standards.
The integrated safety system with smoke-sensitive detector for detecting incipient fires is particularly noteworthy. An existing potential-free switching contact enables the highly recommended alarm to be forwarded to in-house systems so that a quick response can be made in the event of an emergency. An optional telecommunication module can be retrofitted for improved communication with a central building management system.
Designed for smooth evacuation
Every second counts in emergency situations, which is why the safety storage cabinet is equipped with an integrated transport base. This special pedestal design allows for quick and safe evacuation from the building so that lithium-ion batteries can be moved to a safe outdoor location in the event of a fire or heavy smoke development. The door also has a lockable profile cylinder device and an automatic two-point locking system, which prevents unauthorized opening and at the same time keeps the cabinet permanently locked during daily operation.
Optimized interior design and ergonomics
Everyday handling is simplified by several perforated shelves (load capacity 25 kg each), which can be arranged flexibly. The safety storage cabinet also has a base drip tray with a volume of 1 liter - ideal for collecting leaking liquids in the event of a leak and thus minimizing damage. Adjustable feet allow the model to be easily aligned, especially in older buildings with uneven floors, ensuring a stable stand.
