Areas of Application of the Nabertherm Chamber Oven
When we talk about chamber ovens, we are talking about industrial furnaces for heat treatment of workpieces, materials and production materials in a closed room. This also distinguishes these devices from other laboratory furnaces. There are different requirements for each of them: from dimensions to minimum and maximum temperature to supply air and control factors. Chamber furnaces from Nabertherm are used in many different industries and applications. Due to their closed heating system, they are suitable, for example, for firing glass, porcelain and stoneware as well as dense trimmings. With maximum temperatures of up to 1,400 °C, various firing processes are conceivable. In particular, the kilns are commonly found in the following areas:
-
Industry
-
Thermoprocessing
-
Laboratory
-
Foundry
-
Arts and crafts
-
Ceramic workshops
-
Universities and schools
-
Clinics
-
Dental Facilities
Nabertherm Chamber Oven Selection
In order to meet the respective requirements, Nabertherm manufactures various models of chamber furnaces. These differ both in design and technical features, making them ideal for different applications:
Chamber Furnace with Stone Insulation
A Nabertherm chamber oven, which belongs to the LH model series is characterized by a high-quality lightweight refractory brick insulation including back insulation. As a result, it can withstand high temperatures that reach a maximum of 1,200 °C, 1,300 °C or 1,400 °C, depending on the model. The high furnace chamber is equipped with a five-sided heating option for ideal temperature uniformity. Due to the arrangement on support tubes, the chamber furnace not only achieves high durability, but also free heat radiation. This makes it ideal for applications with high temperature requirements and short heating times.
Chamber Furnace with Fiber Insulation
On the other hand, Nabertherm chamber furnaces of the LF series series chamber furnaces, on the other hand, we are talking about models with state-of-the-art combined insulation. This consists of lightweight refractory bricks in the corners and low-storage fiber materials on the surfaces - this not only enables rapid heating, but also rapid cooling. In particular, preheating processes for forming and forging are made child's play thanks to the shorter heating and cooling times. In addition, a motor-driven exhaust air damper and a continuously adjustable supply air damper allow optimal regulation of the conditions in the Nabertherm chamber furnace.
Chamber Oven for Heat Treatment
Third in the group is the N series from Nabertherm, which specializes in heat treatment. The N chamber furnace is designed for hardening and annealing and soldering processes up to 1,280 °C, which means that it can withstand even harsh applications in the laboratory. Soft annealing of titanium in the medical sector is also possible. To withstand heat treatment of metals without any problems, for example, the furnaces are equipped with robust insulation made of lightweight refractory bricks. This also ensures low energy consumption. In addition, there is three-sided heating (both sides and bottom) and a deep furnace chamber.
Strong Oven Systems from Nabertherm
As a manufacturer of industrial furnaces, Nabertherm has been distinguishing itself for over 70 years. Founded in Germany in 1947, the company still produces quality systems "Made in Germany". Since 1997, there have also been several sales companies abroad. The concept is proving successful - Nabertherm can now boast more than 150,000 satisfied customers and 500 employees. Whether muffle furnaces, tube furn aces or annealing and hardening furnaces: the furnaces and heat treatment systems from Nabertherm can be found in various industries and production facilities, which is not least due to the wide range of models, the high quality of workmanship and the strong adaptability of the furnaces. Nabertherm chamber furnaces of the latest generation feature the highest technical know-how and are built for strong performance.
