The flu season is just around the corner. And as if that weren’t enough this year, due to the corona virus, public institutions such as schools, daycare centers and medical practices in particular must think about how they can best protect their premises from the pathogens. Many of them already rely on special air disinfection equipment.
Safe, virus-free rooms through air disinfection equipment
The increasing number of cases of people infected with the coronavirus again shows that an end to the pandemic is not yet in sight. Especially at the beginning of the cold and flu season, it is important to be optimally prepared.
Especially for institutions and companies that receive many people every day, it is now time to rethink. After all, in addition to compulsory masks and distance rules, there are other measures that can be taken to ensure a germ-free, healthy indoor climate for visitors or customers. Both UVC air sterilizers and filter cleaning devices are increasingly being used. These are suitable for a wide variety of areas:
- Medical facilities
- Kitas and schools
- Open-plan offices
- Stores and gastronomy
- Hairdressing salons and beauty salons
- Public institutions and transportation
- Food Industry
- Cold storage and storage rooms
- Premises with high traffic
How do air sterilizers work?
In general, air disinfection devices with filters or UVC radiation manage to remove over 90 percent of suspended particles. And all this without chemicals. For a long-lasting healthy room climate, most devices can even remain in operation all day long.
These so-called UVC air sterilizers draw in the ambient air via a built-in fan. The UVC radiation is then absorbed by the DNA, which prevents cell division and microorganisms die. Persons can stay in the premises without any danger.
Clinics and medical practices increasingly rely on filter devices. The core of the air sterilizer consists of a filter package, which you can easily insert and replace as needed. The filter, usually made of paper or woven fabric, finally removes the smallest particles of fine dust, allergens and numerous other pollutants from the air. Germs and pathogens therefore no longer have a chance!
Which device is suitable for my rooms?
Doctor’s or phsysiotherapy practices, hairdressing salons and law firms, which have a room volume of about 45m³, use the UVG-18. The UV device is often used here to clean waiting areas and to guarantee customers or patients the appropriate protection.
But the air sterilizers from Dinies are certainly also suitable for larger rooms. For example, the models UVG80 for around 100 m³ or UVG360 for 400 m³. You can find an overview of our most popular air purifiers in our UV technology category.
Our manufacturers BioSan, Dinies or UV-Technik Meyer produce first-class devices for air purification in closed rooms.
